Today was your memorial service, and it was hard, and beautiful.
I'm sitting here enjoying the quiet and remembering you. I pulled out my coloring book collection - you started getting into it when you got sick and I picked up the hobby too - and found this gem that you gave me, the Salty Bitches coloring book. Such a Lindsay gift - so thoughtful and chock full of spice and humor and profanity galore.
So many loved ones today shared how they saw you as their sister, how you came to the aid of new mommas and helped them laugh and gave them your sage advice and practical gifts, how your humor was something every single person remember you for. It reminded me how much solace I found hearing about your impact on others while we try to face this vacuum, this void, this heartache. So I wanted to share this silly coloring book and one of my memories of you. I love you.
